Getting StartedQ: What age groups do you teach?
A: We welcome students as young as 3 years old all the way up through teens and adults. Each program is carefully designed to match the developmental needs of that age group. Q: Do I (or my child) need any experience to start?
A: Not at all! Most of our students start with no experience. Our instructors meet each student where they are and guide them step by step, with a focus on encouragement and growth. Q: How do I sign up for a FREE Introductory Lesson?

A: Expect a warm welcome! Meet one-on-one with a friendly, experienced instructor, discuss goals, get a hands-on introduction to basic martial arts skills and techniques and learn about next steps. Q: What should we wear?
A: For your first visit, comfy clothes you can move in are perfect—like a T-shirt and sweatpants. Plan to remove your shoes and socks to get on the mat. Programs & TrainingQ: What kind of martial arts do you teach?
A: We teach Kyuki-Do, which is a blend of martial arts styles. Q: Do teens and adults train at your academy?
A: Yes! Students of all ages train together with most teens and adults moving through the program more rapidly. Q: How often should students attend class?
A: Most students attend 1–2 times per week, depending on age and availability. We’ll help you find the classes that work best for your family’s schedule and goals. Q: How long does it take to become a black belt?
A: The journey to Black Belt typically takes 3-4 years of consistent effort, focus, and commitment. |
